We do not use VaxCare but when we do ‘offsite’ we get consents first, check insurance then go do them another day. This is helpful when you are doing employees of a place ie schools.
Medicaid has provider bulletins that has the updates. https://mydss.mo.gov/mhd/news
If you call them you can ask which bulletin has the most up to date info for the item you want to bill. I will dig around and see what I can find for you. I’ll put it in this thread when I find it.Feel free to email me if you need further help.
jill.masterson@dadecountyhealth.orgAssuming your billing for adults, then bill the vaccine to their medicaid, you have to use NDC #, dose and your script # then you will bill the office visit 90480 to the managed medicaid plan. You can try to bill it all the straight medicaid but they always deny it.
you need to be using VFC or 317 for any Medicaid patient. You can bill a 99211 for office visit for giving the vaccine.

What services are you billing for and I can send you the codes we get paid.So this goes way back in my history —- when a patient is on hospice that hospice has to supply ALL care and medication. I don’t know what service you are providing but stop now before you get too deep in debt. They will not pay unless you can get the hospice to pay for your service.
