Is anyone getting paid by Home State Health Medicaid for private Covid vaccine? If so what codes are you billing? We are getting paid correctly by Ambetter by Sunshine but not Home State or Healthy Blue. We cannot afford to purchase private vaccine and not get reimbursed by Medicaid.
you need to be using VFC or 317 for any Medicaid patient. You can bill a 99211 for office visit for giving the vaccine.
Assuming your billing for adults, then bill the vaccine to their medicaid, you have to use NDC #, dose and your script # then you will bill the office visit 90480 to the managed medicaid plan. You can try to bill it all the straight medicaid but they always deny it.
