REGULAR MEMBERSHIP Membership Dues - $60.00 Any person interested or engaged in public health in the state of Missouri. In order to have a national (NACCHO) membership, an LPHA must hold an organizational membership before being eligible for a regular membership. Regular members may hold office, chair committees and vote.
CONTRIBUTING (NON LPHA) Membership Dues - $300.00 Any person, organization or business entity that manifests an interest in public health through a financial contribution to the Association. The Contributing member shall be an educational institution, a not-for-profit organization, or a health (DHSS), public health, environmental or any other business with an interest that coincides with the mission of MPHA. They may attend meetings, receive all member information, newsletters and email notices, and provide input. Membership listing includes up to six members to be listed. Contributing members may hold office, chair committees, and vote. The organization is entitled to designate six members for a period of one year who will have all rights and privileges afforded to regular members of the Association.
ORGANIZATIONAL (LPHA) Membership Dues - Population Based The Organizational member shall be a Missouri Local Public Health Agency. The LPHA is entitled to designate six organizational representatives for a period of one year who will have all rights and privileges afforded to regular members of the Association. The organizational members will be designated in writing and submitted to the Association at the time dues are paid or when there is a change of representatives. Additional membership may be acquired at the regular membership cost. The organizational member will pay annual dues on a population-based schedule, for both Missouri and National (NACCHO) membership, and will be entitled to all rights and benefits of full membership. Organizational members may hold office, chair committees, and vote on the basis of one vote per agency.
RETIRED Membership Dues - $30.00 Any person who has retired from a professional role in a public health related field (Administrator) or an Administrator of a Missouri Local Public Health Agency. Retired members may hold office, chair committees and vote.
STUDENT Membership Dues - $15.00 Any person enrolled in a college or university or occupied in a formal training program in preparation for entry into a public health related field. Student members cannot hold office, chair committees or vote.
