I recently purchased a vehicle for the health department. When getting it titled, do LPHAs pay the local and state taxes? I have one set with government plates and the other with personal plates.

You should be tax exempt. When we bought our utility trailer we just gave them a copy of our sales tax exemption

    For Board ran agencies:
The title gets registered with DOR like normal and you do not pay taxes.
Order tags any way you want them from MO Vocational Enterprises. You pick color, font size, and what it says. i.e LPHA-1
Tags are not linked to the vehicle in any way at DOR.

If you are commission ran, you need to consult with the county.
