I have been trying to reach a live person from UHC (UMR) to find out why we haven’t gotten the full $40 adm. fee for COVID vaccine. Does anyone have a phone number or a way to reach a live person to get this corrected? Thanks for your help!
Keep in mind that insurance won’t pay the $40 fee for doses given before March 15. Medicaid is the only payer that pays me the full $40. Everyone else pays like $34.67.
The claim number I have for UMR is 1-877-293-4926. You may receive a fax and have to call and put a pin number in. That is usually how it is for me.
Thank you for all the replies! One particular UHC client had first COVID vaccination on 5/21/21 and we billed for $40 but were only paid $24.56. Client received 2nd one on 6/11/21 and we billed $40 and were paid the full $40. Both dates were after March 15th. Just wondering why they didn’t pay the full amount for the first one on 5/21/21. Any thoughts on this?
