I have a few kids who have straight Medicaid, not a managed care plan. I can’t get them paid when I bill through emomed. Anyone give me an idea of what I might be doing wrong? I am using VFC vaccine.

MeganDid you try changing the quantity? I know with flu I have had problems in the past billing it as quantity of 1. I’m getting ready to bill some though and will let you know.
I thought if it was VFC we couldn’t bill for it? only the administration? Am I missing something?
Amandacorrect Amanda, you can only bill vaccine admin fee with VFC. If it shows they only have medicaid it should be paying. Make sure when you check eligibility theres no other insurance listed at the bottom. Also make sure you are using SL modifier on the vaccine admin.
