I’m sorry, as Betty said, my list doesn’t reproduce well. I’m glad to mail this to anyone who asks. Some of the critical information is shaded and I just can’t get it any lighter on the copier. This info was given to me, but I’m afraid I don’t remember who gave it to me. It came from the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association, but I don’t belong to that group and couldn’t find this on their website.

E-mail me your address to paula.delaney@lpha.mo.gov and I will mail it to you.

In the ICD-10 manual we got from the billing conference several months ago it lists all STD’s diagnosis codes under the index section of Disease, diseased sexually transmitted then you go to the specific disease
In section A under A50 – A64 is the “Infections with a predominantly sexual mode of transmission”
The CPT code will be based on the patient visit. Was the test collected during an exam or did they just walk in for STD test.
You can bill Medicaid maybe for a 99211 if they only saw a nurse but if they see a Dr or NP you can bill for more extensive visit.
