Hi everyone. My administrator wanted me to check and see what other departments are charging for STD (gonorrhea and chlamydia) tests. We do not provide any state testing other than HIV/syphilis and use Cytocheck for the gonorrhea/chlamydia tests. Do you also have a fee schedule for out of county or state clients? And do you charge any fees for HIV/syphilis testing? Thanks.
Lauri, Jasper Co. HDWe do not charge for an HIV/Syphilis test. We charge a $15 admin fee over what Cytocheck charges for the tests and we charge a $15 out of county fee for all services.
We do charge a $10.00 office visit fee for HIV/Syph testing( waived if unable to pay). We do not have state funding for G/C so we negotiated special pricing with Quest and LabCorp for their urine test (and other lab tests). We do not charge more for out of county as we would rather treat everyone we can to decrease spread and have a chance to educate and hand out condoms.
