Does anyone have any luck billing Medicaid for private stock vaccine for adults? If so, do you bill all vaccinations to straight MO Medicaid regardless of MC+ plan?
Years ago we did before managed care plans. You went through Emomed and did as a pharmacy claim. In the OLD billing book for Medicaid it went through it step by step.
I have had some success in billing purchased vaccine for adults- bill both MC+ plan and MOHNET. MC+ plan should cover adm fee but gamble if does. I just bill MOHNET as it separates pharmacy and medical. Billing to pharmacy directly is hard and seemed like never get paid.

I create a pharmacy claim on EMOMED using the vaccine NDC. I then bill any admin codes spearately to Medicaid or the MC+ Plan.
