If you have someone in patagonia that has two files, how do you merge the files.

I just received information yesterday about a Patagonia Webinar taking place on Tuesday, August 9 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EST (Starts 1:00 pm Central time). One of the issues being addressed is “How to Merge Patients”. It’s a CET Training Webinar Series 2022 entitled “Practice Administration- Part 2”.

To Merge files in Patagonia, someone with Practice Administration rights will go to Practice Administration, Other, Merge Patients, search for the source patient (the record you will be moving information from), then search for the Target Patient (the record you want all the information in), then select Merge Patients.

Please watch the webinar – you can merge thru practice admin like what is described above but that won’t merge ledgers if there are two ledgers. The webinar gives steps on how to do that. Otherwise you end up with a ledger that is not tied to a patient.
