I am in need of some assistance, if anyone would be willing to help. We have been contracted with Medicare for about six months, and have been having difficulties with them since that point. If anyone has time, and is willing to help me I would greatly appreciate it. Getting contracted with Medicare was a complete pain in the rear, let alone now trying to get claims paid by them.
One issue in particular is that:They are telling me that a patient has another insurance, in which that patient does not. Next, how/where do you put if Medicare is the primary or secondary payer on the 1500? Last, a denial code that I keep getting is 130, the claim contains incomplete information. I do not understand how this is possible, because the claim is prepopulated by our software system.I am all kinds of confused- and would like some help/direction if someone could help.
