    Check out this link.

I have reached out to my billing/coding instructor from a few years back (I graduated with my AOS in billing and coding in 2014) for documentation to help further explain the code 99211 and when you can and can not use it when billing for vaccines. Also, I have been personally told from Mo HealthNet’s Dana L. Bernier, a Provider Education Representative, that we can not bill 99211 with vaccines alone.

(Also, there is no such thing as the “two touch rule”.)

    Hope this helps everyone!

    You are very welcome!

I want to emphasize the part that says that taking routine vital signs are services INCLUDED in the immunization administration CPT codes.

The “two touch rule” that is being talked about refers to IF there is a separate identifiable E/M there is criteria that has to be met, height and weight are included in that. I believe that’s where the confusion on this rule is, which isn’t even a real rule.
