Not really a billers question but, what does everyone do for annual hipaa training? Preferably free!

Shelby CountyWe subscribe to American Practice Eagle Advisor. It is $400 (approx.) annually, so definitely not free. But, they send out a monthly newsletter with compliance testing to make sure your facility stays compliant with HIPAA and OSHA. They also send an audit to use annually to make sure you are meeting all HIPAA requirements, as well as being available on the phone for questions. I also have a PowerPoint that I’m willing to send you. The PowerPoint is just something I made for our in-house annual training. If you’re interested, email me at cburnham@joplinmo.org. Honestly, I don’t know if it meets annual requirements, but it is helpful and in layman’s terms.
We just use these for annual training.
