This year, our office will be administering Fluvaval (Flu) Vaccine. My nurse says it is given from 6 mo. to 18 years of age. Do you use CPT code 90688?

we are using CPT code 90686-Flu virus vaccine, quadrivalent (IIV4) split virus preservative-free 0.5ml dosage IM
90686 .5 ml for 36 months and up and 90685.25 ml for 6 months-35 months. It will depend if you are using a multi dose vial or single dose vial. 90688 is for a multi doese vial Im sure you know but use your SL modifier when billing medicaid. Here is a link with CPT codes for flu
