CMS has come out with CPT codes and allowable amounts we can bill for administration of COVID19 vaccine
https://www.cms.gov/medicare/medicare-part-b-drug-average-sales-price/covid-19-vaccines-and-monoclonal-antibodies Several good informational pages in their toolkits.It appears you bill Medicare Part B for those with Medicare. There are different codes for different vaccine (Pfizer vs Moderna)
Allowable is $16.94 for first dose
Allowable is $28.39 for second doseThey are allowing Roster Billing if you are set up as a Mass Immunizer.
That will help us offset cost of nursing expenses to give vaccine.
