I also learned that if our Health Department only operates under standing orders of a physician we cannot bill the admin codes 90460 and 90461, correct? We would bill 90471 and 90472 instead (unless oral or Medicare)?
I learned for Medicaid only that we could bill 99211 in lieu of the admin codes. Does that work for the managed care providers as well? And is using 99211 in lieu of admin codes acceptable when RNs are performing the services and we do not have an in-house physician?
