Epidemiology – Emerging Tick-Borne Disease Surveillance Project
This intern will work on a surveillance and epidemiology project focused on emerging tick-borne diseases and changing tick ecology, including pathogens such as Ehrlichiosis, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Tularemia, Heartland virus, Bourbon virus, Lyme disease, STARI, and Alpha-gal syndrome. The project will include structured literature review, synthesis of national and regional surveillance trends. Strong fit for: Epidemiology, Infectious Disease, Public Health, Environmental Health, or related fields.
