KeymasterCan someone please explain very simply whether we can bill our Missouri Care, Home State and UHC Community Plan claims on Office Ally with no charge? It seems like I’m reading conflicting information on their site and on this billers’ board. Are there hidden or underlying charges we need to be aware of? Our county cannot pay for a billing service, so if it’s not completely free, we have to continue with our old format. Thanks!

KeymasterNo, managed care billing is considered Non-Par – which incurs a fee; however, Office Ally has a monthly cap of $35, so even if you do get charged – it won’t be more than the $35. It is worth it for us….

KeymasterI look at the income from the managed care and the invoice from OfficeAlly and it is by far for us worth it. The time it takes to go to 3 different websites 4 if you count those that still have straight Medicaid it saves us time. Plus you can count it on your CHIP report as an expense for those under 18 getting immunizations

KeymasterWe use Office Ally at Madison County Health Department. Please contact Tissy at 573-783-2747 and she can answer most any questions you would have. It works well for us and is affordable.
