Missouri Public Health AssociationKeymasterWe are billing private insurance for the new Covid vaccines and are not having any issues.
We also billed Medicare B and those claims are approved to pay but waiting for the payments now.

Missouri Public Health AssociationKeymasterOk I just got back a remit from BCBS and for the COVID I billed 91322 and 90480. It didn’t pay saying ASQ The doctor/facility isn’t eligible to bill for this care based on their contract with the health plan and 96 Non-covered charge.

Missouri Public Health AssociationKeymasterSo I got a hold of BCBS and they told me to conform a list of all the denied COVID claims and send to them to review and it could take over 30 days.

Missouri Public Health AssociationKeymasterWe are having the same error message you got Alicia White, private insurance is denying it. When I called they just told me due to an error in processing but couldn’t give me specifics. I asked our billing team to call them and they called me back stating that they did not have any of the new configurations in there system yet from commercialization. They are reprocessing them now but it will take a while to hear back.
