Im getting paid $29.84 for flu admin. Are you billing G0008? The only thing I’m not getting paid for is COVID admin fee.
For all claims with 90471/G0008 and 90480- I have been adding a 59 modifier on the 90480 and getting paid. This has to do with an NCCI edit that is going to be removed after the first of the year. All affected claims are supposed to be reprocessed and paid after that. So the 59 modifier will not be needed. I was just sick of the denials and found that modifier allowed payment for both admin codes.
