    Does anyone bill medicare part b for administration of an allergy shot? We have never done this and are just trying to see if it’s easier to just charge $5 out of pocket. The last facility was billing his insurance for him. cpt code 95115

    Allergy shots are a HUGE liability. Back when the Dept of Health actually wrote our protocols we were not allowed to do them in LPHA’s. Even since then we have always been advised not to tread those waters.

    I agree with Janella. Unless you are equipped to deal with a major reaction Don’t do it.

    We used to do allergy shots many years ago, but we stopped due to liability concerns.
