I have a question about the paperwork with insurance companies, we currently have vaxcare but I am going through the process of Credentialing and Contracting with insurance companies. When filling out the paperwork provided, I have to change the “Provider” to our health unit, with our NPI, Tax Number and LPI sometimes with a letter. Is this Normal for everybody? We have signed orders from our Dr. but not one on staff. Thank you for any input on this.

Franklin County Health Department has everything in our NPI and name, EXCLUDING Missouri Health Net. MHN has to be in your MDs name, from what I understand- it was set up way before I started here at FCHD a year and a half ago. My hours are M,T, W 8 to 4:30, Th 8-6 and Fri 8-12, with a half hour lunch usually from 12 to 1230. I would be glad to help you, in anyway I can 🙂
