For any of you that are fairly new at billing, there is a page on MO DHSS about billing private insurance.

Some of the info is a little dated. And contacts for insurance providers may have changed some but hopefully this will help you out. I know many of you are getting EHR’s for first time. Don’t wait to contact insurance companies about getting on as a preferred provider.
