Hello all~
Sorry if this is repetitive, but I need help in assigning the correct NPI’s for billing. We here at Barry County only bill Medicaid (MC+ and all three managed care options).
We now have CureMD (EMR system) and I love it, but we now have a new Medical Director that signed our new Standing Orders.
My concern is that we are not selecting the correct “Rendering Physician” NPI. Is everyone using their Medical Director’s NPI or the Health Department’s NPI. Does anyone use their Medical Director’s NPI on charges? Please help
